They pride themselves on providing high quality, leading edge coatings to the architectural, marine, automotive and engineering markets. They have a vacancy in their well-established Research and Development team for a Senior Chemist to work on the development or water and solvent based systems. Full relocation assitance provided.

Responsibilities;

• Lead development of industrial coatings, particularly epoxy, polyurethane and polyaspartic systems
• Develop and optimise innovative coatings formulations for a wide range of applications
• Conduct lab-based testing and scale-up activities to ensure product performance and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QC, production, supply chain and technical service

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Paint Technology
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the development of coatings
• Strong knowledge of polymers, resins, and pigment technologies
